NATURAL STONES AND CARE
Natural stone is composed of minerals and is earth-formed over hundreds of millions of years and for this reason no stone is an exact match to another, each is unique.
These naturally occurring variations can include colour, tone, granularity, patterns, polishing irregularities, water lines, pores, surface pits, blemishes, veins and fissures. This is expected and are the source of the stones natural beauty.
Natural stone requires maintenance, in the form a sealer to provide protection against stains. You should not use abrasive cleaners.
QUARTZ USEÂ AND CARE
There is no need to seal your Quartz countertop, as it is not a natural stone.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or harsh chemicals such drain cleaners, paint strippers or products containing Hydrofluoric acid.
It is recommended to always use a trivet or hot pad between Quartz and any heat generating device including but not limited to crock pots, deep fryers etc.
